Letshego Bank Namibia Enhances Digital Literacy at Nossobville Primary School with Laptop Donation

In a significant gesture to support and improve digital literacy in Namibia, Letshego Bank Namibia has donated 25 second-hand laptops to Nossobville Primary School, situated in the Omaheke Region. The bank has also provided technical support training to ensure the continued maintenance and longevity of these devices.
During the handover event, the Head Boy of Nossobville Primary School, Mr Kahaka Uekeripura, expressed his heartfelt appreciation, emphasising that "this donation is a genuine response to a challenge affecting the future of many Namibian children. These laptops serve as gateways to valuable information and will empower students to develop crucial digital literacy skills, highly valued in our social and business communities."
Kahaka further states that “these laptops will transform the learning environment at Nossobville Primary School. They will enable students to enhance their basic information communication technology skills and research capabilities, preparing them for a brighter future in the digital age. Furthermore, these devices will enable teachers to complement their lessons with online resources, enriching the educational experience in the classroom.”
This gesture underscores Letshego's steadfast commitment to education, which plays a pivotal role in Namibia's development and the realisation of national development objectives. Letshego Namibia remains dedicated to improving the education system and supporting the Ministry of Education in achieving this significant mandate.
